Part-Time Housing Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Housing Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting individuals at risk of homelessness by providing personalized support and guidance as they work towards independent living.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver person-centered support to service users, ensuring their well-being and safety are paramount.
  • Collaborate with service users to develop personalized support plans that address their unique needs and goals.
  • Assist service users in maintaining their tenancies by providing practical advice and guidance on housing management.
  • Empower service users to develop essential life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and social interaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of support provided, including case studies that document progress and achievements.
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment for all service users.
Skills and Experience:

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Experience working with vulnerable adults, particularly those facing homelessness or substance misuse challenges.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to protecting service users from harm.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with service users.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals in need.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
