About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEND team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with special educational needs and disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with subject teachers to ensure students' progress in individual subjects
  • Act as a positive role model both socially and academically
  • Help to foster and develop positive relationships with staff and peers
  • Be flexible to meet the dynamic needs of the SEND department on a daily basis
  • Identify personal training needs and attend appropriate internal and external training
  • Be involved in maintaining records, undertaking assessment and evaluating identified students' needs
  • Ensure inclusive practice and equality of opportunity for all
