We are seeking a skilled Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team at Ridge & Partners LLP. As a key member of our Geo-Environmental Consultancy Department, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and reporting of Phase 1 and Phase 2 Site Investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning, execution, and reporting of Phase 1 and Phase 2 Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical site investigations
  • Log and analyze soil and rock samples
  • Schedule and coordinate laboratory testing
  • Assist with site monitoring, including groundwater, surface water, and ground-gas
  • Conduct soil and groundwater risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (postgraduate degree desirable)
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to research and stay up-to-date with current contamination topics and legislation
  • Ideal knowledge of asbestos regulations and associated testing and risk assessment
  • Geotechnical knowledge, including logging soils and rocks
  • Full driving license
