Senior Contract Estimator

Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Senior Contract Estimator at our Head Office in Antrim.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare enquiry documents using the most appropriate methods, including the internet, approved databases, and the Conquest Enquiry Management Suite.
- Sourcing and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations, with a focus on securing the most advantageous terms for the company.
- Review and comment on design options, providing findings and recommendations on cost, quality, and availability during the tender adjudication meeting.
- Post-tender and post-contract discussions, including cost considerations and evaluation of the contract.
- Assist in the training of other members of the estimating team by disseminating relevant information on construction methods, programmes, construction outputs, and contract conditions.
