About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our District Nursing Service in East Dorset. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients in their own homes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Care for patients with complex needs, including diabetes management, wound care, and end-of-life care.
  • Provide person-centered care, prioritizing patients' safety, privacy, and dignity.
  • Assess patients' care needs and develop personalized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer advice and support to patients, carers, and families on care and health improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor students and junior staff, promoting clinical excellence and best practice.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
