Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining a high-end luxury residential development in Brighton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the communal areas are clean and tidy
- Perform painting and decorating tasks as required
- Remove rubbish and ensure all tools are maintained and kept securely
- Provide general maintenance support to the development
- Report defects and incidents to the Development Manager and take corrective action
- Carry out monthly emergency light system checks and fire alarm checks with the Development Manager
- Undertake routine general repairs and refit door locks
- Pressure wash and clean bin stores on a weekly basis and ensure all footpaths and communal areas are kept clean and swept
- Carry out touch-up paint work in communal areas as required
- Carry out regular checks and maintenance of terrace areas, including watering plants
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to have a basic understanding of maintenance tasks and be able to follow instructions.
