**The Role**

We're seeking a highly skilled Coatings Scientist to join our dynamic R&D team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advancing the performance of coatings on sustainable leather textiles from R&D through to production.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and optimize coating formulations to enhance performance and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with coating suppliers and universities to develop cutting-edge solutions.
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to assess coating effectiveness and impact on product performance.
  • Manage projects from ideation to full-scale manufacturing, ensuring seamless scale-up processes.
  • Provide recommendations for new technical solutions and work closely with our production facilities.

**Requirements**

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science with a focus on coatings, polymers, or soft matter.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the coating industry, preferably in leather, textiles, packaging, or surface treatment, with production environment experience.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with excellent communication and management abilities.
