Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our pastry kitchen team at The Ned. As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and serving our dessert menus, creating visually appealing desserts, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve our dessert menus to high standards of quality and presentation
  • Create desserts that meet our brand standards and exceed guest expectations
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with other chefs, runners, and management teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Support the kitchen leadership team in achieving our business objectives
  • Participate in menu creation and development, bringing creative ideas and suggestions to the table
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment
  • Adhere to our company's policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, hygiene, and customer service

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a pastry kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation, including baking, decorating, and presentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor under pressure, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Availability to work during peak periods, including holidays and special events
