About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Guitar Reviews Editor to join our team at Future Publishing. As a key member of our Reviews Hub, you will be responsible for creating and commissioning guitar/gear reviews across multiple platforms and brands for our engaged global audience.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading publisher in the music industry, leveraging your expertise in guitars and the guitar market to create high-quality content that resonates with our readers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create reviews output across our guitar brands and the guitar content on MusicRadar
  • Work with the eCommerce team to maximise the value of our reviews Buying Guide output
  • Collaborate with magazine and online editors to ensure efficient publishing schedules and minimise duplication of effort
  • Partner with PRs and companies to plan and manage reviews and coverage around product release dates
  • Log, return, and manage all products in and out of Bath using a centralised list
  • Commission and write reviews
  • Manage budgets as allocated by the Head of Reviews
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of guitars and the guitar market
  • Ability to create reviews content that is useful for our readers and has a clear understanding of how this will evolve over the coming years
  • Ability to create content that connects with a multinational but US-first target audience
  • Knowledge of our multi-platform landscape (online, print, social, and video)
  • Ability to manage a budget, create, and hit deadlines
  • Multi-media skills (an understanding of what makes great content, including video, audio, and written)
