Join Our Team as a Water Policy Consultant/Senior Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Policy Consultant/Senior Consultant to join our Environmental Policy and Economics team at WSP Global Inc.

As a Water Policy Consultant/Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering sustainability advisory services to our clients, working in partnership to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Our team has a long history of delivering environmental consultancy and advice to clients across the UK, EU, and worldwide.

This role will sit within our Environmental Policy and Economics team, which focuses on providing policy, technical, and economic advice on environmental policy and business response to policy.

In the field of water policy, we work closely with our WSP team of water specialists, who cover all aspects of water science, as well as technical experts across other relevant disciplines.

Our current projects in water policy are for customers such as the European Commission, European Environment Agency, national governments, and international organizations.

The successful candidate will support and lead the delivery of projects, as well as contribute to winning new work.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in water science, either academic or through work experience, which would help inform the implementation of technical aspects of these projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead the delivery of projects in water policy
  • Contribute to winning new work
  • Work closely with our WSP team of water specialists and technical experts
  • Provide policy, technical, and economic advice on environmental policy and business response to policy

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in public policy on water
  • Ability to analyze and interrogate data
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
