About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our project delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects across various sectors, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality engineering design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable principles into project designs and ensure compliance with UK regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and submit S278, S38, and S104 application packages for the adoption and maintenance of roads and drainage systems by local authorities and water companies.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for detailed design drawings and drainage design software like Causeway PDS Flow and InfoDrainage to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
  • Apply CIRIA guidance for sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and prepare Drainage Impact Assessments, particularly in Scotland.
  • Use earthworks software for cut and fill analysis to optimize land and material use during construction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management and leadership, with a strong background in civil engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong technical expertise in highway and drainage projects, with knowledge of UK regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and drainage design software like Causeway PDS Flow and InfoDrainage.
  • Knowledge of CIRIA guidance for sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and experience in preparing Drainage Impact Assessments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
