About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead our project delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple projects across diverse sectors, integrating sustainable principles into your designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations and standards related to highway and drainage projects.
  • Prepare and submit S278, S38, and S104 application packages for the adoption and maintenance of roads and drainage systems.
  • Design and develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD and drainage design software like Causeway PDS Flow and InfoDrainage.
  • Apply CIRIA guidance for sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and prepare Drainage Impact Assessments.
  • Use earthworks software for cut and fill analysis to optimize land and material use during construction.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
  • Proven experience in project management and delivery, with a focus on highway and drainage projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in civil engineering, with knowledge of UK regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
