Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team based out of the Wakefield office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the construction of steel-framed buildings, overseeing internal brickwork/blockwork structures, as well as external works, drainage, and paving.

  1. Setting out building, structures and civils works
  2. Supervision of subcontractors and direct labour in areas specific to your role.
  3. Work closely with the project delivery team and support as necessary, including areas of quality and health & safety.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  2. HNC or Degree in construction related field.
  3. Proven experience with steel-framed buildings, brickwork, blockwork, drainage, and external works.
  4. Strong understanding of inspection and testing procedures.
  5. SMSTS.
  6. CSCS.
