Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our Portfolio Procurement team. As an IT Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of IT and IS services in the UK and Germany, with a focus on managed services, service integrations, testing, and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain market insights on the IT and IS marketplace, including best practices, trends, and key suppliers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to generate initiatives for operational and commercial efficiency plans and deliver results.
- Develop documented category strategy plans in collaboration with senior stakeholders, covering a 3-year horizon.
- Maintain a rolling sourcing plan, covering planned stakeholder initiatives, procurement initiatives, and contract renewals.
- Stay up-to-date with the commercial IT environment and determine the most appropriate approach to market.
- Develop and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring key performance indicators and agreed targets are met, while maintaining information security.
- Lead regular supplier review meetings, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in IS procurement.
- Strong credibility with executives, senior stakeholders, and key suppliers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the IT leadership team and wider IT team.
- Manage and deliver new contracts and contract renewals.
- Deliver strategic IT delivery projects.
- Develop and execute the category strategy for the IT sub-category.
