About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to join our team at HFH Healthcare. As a Paediatric Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and adults with complex needs, including those with tracheostomies and ventilation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to children and adults with complex needs, including those with tracheostomies and ventilation requirements.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Administer medication and perform medical procedures as required.
  • Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in healthcare or care work is desirable.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
