The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The Bull's Head Inn. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and consistency, while also contributing to the development of new menu ideas and dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen service, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and dishes, working closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff.
  • Order and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the right products at the right time.
  • Monitor and control food costs, wastage, and labor costs, ensuring that we're operating within budget.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
