Weekend Transport Planner Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Weekend Transport Planner to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating transportation schedules for weekend operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and coordinate transportation schedules to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
  2. Manage and communicate with drivers to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Monitor and address any issues that arise during the shift.
  4. Update customers and internal teams on delivery progress and status.
  5. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
  6. Maintain accurate records of operations and prepare necessary reports.
  7. Seek continuous improvement in route planning and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in transport planning or a similar logistics role is essential.
  2. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  3. Ability to make decisions quickly and manage operations independently.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Proficiency with transport planning software and Microsoft Office.
  6. Knowledge of relevant transport regulations and compliance requirements.
