Chief Financial Officer

YMCA Black Country Group is seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer to ensure the continued growth, financial sustainability, and compliance of our services. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in delivering integrated programmes that support young people and their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the financial health and corporate governance of YMCA BCG, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Lead the Finance, HR, and IT functions, driving best-value procurement and strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other Chief Officers to achieve organisational goals, promoting the Christian values that underpin our work.

Requirements:

  • Qualified member of a recognised accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Significant experience in a senior financial leadership role, including overseeing finances, financial audits, and HR functions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial systems and lead organisational change.
  • Personal commitment to the Christian faith, with a reference required from your current church leader.
