About the Role

Shaw Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an In Custody IAG Adviser. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering prisoners to achieve positive learning and employment outcomes during their time in custody and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide crucial careers information, advice, and guidance to prisoners in custody, inspiring and supporting them to achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with prisoners to identify their strengths, skills, and interests, and develop personalized plans to support their reintegration into society.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective support for prisoners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative programs and initiatives to enhance prisoner outcomes.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of systems, software, and technologies to support business needs.
  • Experience working in IT and/or Telecoms Service Desk environments.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of hardware, including printers, tablets, mobiles, and laptops.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant sector.
