About the Role

As an In Custody IAG Adviser with Shaw Trust, you will play a vital role in empowering prisoners to achieve positive learning and employment outcomes. Your expertise will inspire and support individuals to make informed decisions about their future, contributing to their personal development and successful reintegration into society.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide crucial careers information, advice, and guidance to prisoners in custody.
  • Support prisoners in setting and achieving learning and employment goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver effective support programs.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance the delivery of IAG services.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of systems, software, technologies, communications, and suppliers to support business needs.
  • Experience with Windows desktop OS and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of hardware, including printers, tablets, mobiles, and laptops.
  • Previous extensive experience in IT and/or Telecoms Service Desk experience.
