Job Title: Deputy Head of Treasury

Location: Hybrid role - can be based at either our London or Manchester office.

Role Overview:

This is a senior role in the Group Treasury Function of a fast-growing, PE-owned, personal lines insurance broker.

The role supports the Head of Treasury in delivering large strategic initiatives for the group, including debt structuring, group investment management, market risk management, IT infrastructure projects, and cash optimization.

As well as providing support to Treasury in developing and managing a well-governed, process-driven, and efficient Treasury Desk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of debt funding facilities in line with legal parameters.
  • Liquidity management, short-term and medium-term.
  • Market Risk management, forecasting, hedging, and reporting.
  • Group investment portfolio management.
  • Relationship management with Banks/Advisors/External Legal.
  • Management of Group Intercompany Framework.
  • Evolve and maintain Treasury policies, standards, structures, procedures, and controls.
Requirements:

A strong Senior Treasury Manager with significant experience who aspires to grow into the Head of Treasury role in a large and growing corporate.

Strong technical and commercial Treasury experience required.

You must be driven and able to demonstrate the ability to deliver 'change'.

Effective stakeholder management both internally and externally required.

Ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Treasury and be able to engage with senior stakeholders on technical topics such as:

  • Debt Facilities (Senior Term Debt, Revolving credit facilities, securitization, other).
  • Market Risk and Hedging.
  • Investment Strategy (Credit Risk/Return/Liquidity).
  • Group cash and liquidity management and optimization.
