About the Company:
We are a well-established National Refrigeration and Air Conditioning company with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Our organization has a robust annual turnover exceeding £10 million and employs approximately 140 dedicated professionals, including 100 skilled engineers.
Position Overview:
Due to our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Systems Technician. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in handling a diverse array of refrigeration and air conditioning systems, with a primary focus on refrigeration (approximately 80%). The equipment you will work on includes:
- Split systems
- VRV systems
- Walk-in chillers/freezers
- Commercial refrigeration units
- Cellar cooling systems
- Ice machines
Compensation:
The starting salary for this role is £40,000 per annum, with opportunities for regular overtime that can increase your earnings by an additional £1,000 to £2,000+ each month.
On-Call Duties:
This position includes participation in an on-call rota, which is scheduled for one weeknight per week and one in every four weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Refrigeration Systems Technician, your daily tasks will involve:
- Visiting customer locations, primarily in the hospitality sector, including pubs and restaurants.
- Engaging with clients to address their refrigeration needs.
Candidate Requirements:
The successful applicant will possess:
- F-Gas certification and NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Refrigeration.
- A valid driving license.
- Previous experience as a Field or Service Engineer in refrigeration or air conditioning.
