Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Waste Sales Officer to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. As a Commercial Waste Sales Officer, you will be responsible for obtaining new commercial waste customers and retaining existing ones in the borough of Thurrock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise business owners on their responsibilities regarding the storage and disposal of commercial waste and recycling.
  • Obtain new business and achieve realistic revenue objectives through strategic sales and customer retention.
  • Liaise with existing and new customers to provide advice and services where required.
  • Work closely with the Contracts & Business Development Manager to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Commercial Waste Services and wider Environment portfolio.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Retain existing customers and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to add value to the services delivered by the Commercial Waste Service.
  • Assist in the development of marketing and operational strategies to maximize the customer base against competition from private competitors.
Requirements
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of waste management and recycling practices.
