Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Nurse to join our team at Bupa Dental Care. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of dental nurses, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of dental nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC requirements and manage audits to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Oversee reception and staff rotas, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Update patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Set up decontamination of instruments and ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed.
  • Provide clinical chair-side support to dentists and undertake some reception duties as needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of dental nurses.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and service delivery.
