About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Rose Cottage Day Nursery and Preschool in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in educational play and activities, and promoting their development towards key milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and staff.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the nursery by being flexible and adaptable in your approach.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children, such as a Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Nanny.
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
