Job Title: Bank Early Years Practitioner Level 2

At Bright Horizons, we're seeking a qualified Bank Staff Member to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Bank Early Years Practitioner Level 2, you'll have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, blending the convenience of Bank / Locum / Agency work with the security and benefits of being an employee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
  • Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children, such as Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
