Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust and Company Administrator to join our Private Client team at Ocorian. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional trust and company administration services to a varied portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trust Administration
    • Administer a portfolio of trusts, companies, and other entities, ensuring all activities comply with statutory or governing documents.
    • Ensure the tax status of entities is observed, completing tax returns and paying notified tax liabilities in a timely manner.
  • Company Administration
    • Deal with incoming correspondence efficiently, referring to supervisors if demands exceed capabilities.
    • Prepare detailed attendance notes of telephone communications and circulate to relevant staff members.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Take responsibility for being the immediate point of contact in client relationships.
    • Oversee the maintenance of accounting records and preparation of annual accounts, where applicable.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the billing process, reviewing billing summaries and draft invoices at established frequencies.
    • Liaise with the Accounts Department and Directors to maintain tight control over aged debts.
  • Database Management
    • Input database records on formation/establishment and update when circumstances change.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure periodic reviews of clients' matters are undertaken in accordance with the timetable set by the Director.
    • Escalate any issues or risks arising promptly to the Manager or Directors, as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Educated to A level or degree standard.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in trust and company administration.
  • Ideal candidates will have completed a professional or relevant qualification to Certificate Level (e.g., ICSA/STEP).
  • Strong technical knowledge of local company and trust law and regulations.
  • Excellent IT skills.
