Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Oversight
Manage computerized records for all book sales related to consumer and corporate events. Ensure safe delivery of stock to the designated warehouse for distribution. Collaborate with publishers' sales teams regarding terms and delivery logistics.Event-Based Book Sales
Coordinate with event teams and venues concerning terms for book sales at live events. Partner with other promoters and hire freelancers for external bookselling at events. Attend events as needed to supervise the book distribution and sales process. Work closely with the Customer Service team to address all customer inquiries related to books at live events.Online Sales & Market Insights
Oversee the selection of books for the company's online sales platform and ensure it is regularly updated for effective stock management. Analyze strategies to enhance book sales in conjunction with live tours and special shows. Lead and manage the operations team responsible for fulfilling orders from the online sales platform.Experience and Skills Required:
At least 2 years of experience in a comparable position. Familiarity with the publishing sector. Experience in a sales or operations role within a publishing company is advantageous, though not mandatory. Experience in line management is preferred, but not essential.Location: London
