Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Test Engineer to join our team, reporting to our Senior Test Engineer. This role will play a key part in our development of a smart and scalable platform, working with the senior team to analyze requirements, build test plans, and test new features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the senior team to analyze requirements, build test plans, and test new features.
  • Work with and enable the expert user community.
  • Analyze issues raised and feed back to the team.
  • Work with the team to build out automated testing capabilities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year's testing/QA experience in software.
  • Experience with defect and test management software (e.g. Jira).
  • Knowledge of testing web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with various testing techniques.
  • Great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Writing test cases, checklists, and test plans.
Desirable Skills
  • Writing test automation in Cypress.
  • Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience working with mobile testing services/labs.
  • Home Assistant.
  • Automation and CI/CD pipelines.
