Job Title: Sales Team Leader
Job Summary:
U-Drive Ltd is seeking an ambitious Sales Team Leader to play a crucial role in driving the next phase of growth for our forward-thinking vehicle hire business. As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for generating leads and converting them into customers through proactive sales outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential leads through innovative research and lateral thinking, utilizing various channels, including online research, industry events, and referrals.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads to fuel our growth, maximizing the fleet we have within a 20-mile radius of existing locations, working closely with the Branch Managers to maximize Branch sales potential.
- Collaborate with the account management, marketing, fleet, and EV teams to align on messaging and promotional activities.
- Provide feedback from the field to help improve our service offerings and sales strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, sharing market insights and recommendations with the team to enhance our market position.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or a similar role, preferably in the automotive or vehicle rental industry, or Plant/Tool hire.
- Excellent, proven cold-calling skills with a persuasive and confident phone manner and a resilience to objections.
- Ability to understand customer needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly.
- A Full UK driver's license.

- Excellent Base Salary with uncapped commission - our Sales Team Leader sees a realistic OTE of £50,000.
