Role Overview
Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Contract Director, responsible for managing the resolution of defects in our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our work.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with the supply chain and/or appoint new contractors to carry out defect rectification works.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement defect resolution strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Housing Associations and suppliers.
- Monitor and report on defect resolution progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Extensive experience in construction management, with a focus on defect resolution.
- Strong knowledge of new build regulations and sub-contract awareness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
What We Offer
Sphere Solutions offers a competitive salary package, including a salary of circa £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience, car allowance, and mileage paid. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company, with the possibility of long-term career development.
