Job Title: Registered Staff Nurse - Outpatients

Spire Yale Hospital, located in Wrexham, North Wales, is seeking a skilled Registered Staff Nurse to join their Outpatients team on a flexible working basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run nurse-led dressing and phlebotomy clinics, ensuring efficient and effective care for patients.
  • Provide individualized nursing care and procedures, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assist Consultants during examinations and minor surgical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Carry out delegated duties by the OPD Manager/Team Leader to ensure the proper care of patients and the efficient running of the department.
Requirements:
  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Minimum 1-year post-graduation experience in a similar role, with demonstrable skills and experience.
  • Outpatient Services experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Venepuncture and ILS Training are desirable for this role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on patient care.
