Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer

Eden Brown Education is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join a leading further education college in Greater Manchester.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Engineer to teach on a range of courses at level 2 and level 3, including full-time, part-time, and apprentices. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Teach Mechanical Engineering courses at level 2 and level 3
  2. Plan, deliver, and develop teaching/learning programmes
  3. Assess learners' progress and devise assessment processes
  4. Contribute to curriculum team and student support
Requirements:
  1. Recognised teaching qualification or good proven teaching/training experience
  2. Industry experience in Mechanical Engineering
  3. Minimum level 3 Mechanical Engineering related qualification
  4. Literacy and Numeracy to at least level 2
  5. Experience teaching Mechanical Engineering to level 3
  6. Fitting, milling, and turning experience
  7. Availability on a full-time basis

A competitive salary of £35-£40 per hour, 36 hours paid, and the opportunity to work with a leading further education college in Greater Manchester.
