Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Reservations Coordinator to enhance our dynamic reservations team. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding customer service by managing accommodation, dining, spa, and golf bookings, while fostering excitement for our guests' upcoming visits.
Your contributions will be vital in promoting our resort services and ensuring efficient handling of inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Professionally manage all incoming calls to the reservations department.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort offerings and local attractions to provide informed recommendations.
- Deliver accurate rate information to clients.
- Process reservations and inquiries through various channels, ensuring accuracy.
- Handle reports related to cancellations, arrivals, and non-arrivals.
- Input all reservation details accurately into the booking system.
- Confirm reservations promptly via email or letter.
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill clients' specific requests.
- Process online reservations and manage gift card sales.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards during all communications.
- Address guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an organized and confident individual with a background in reservations, sales, or customer service. You should possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Proficient IT skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Punctuality and time management skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a reservations environment is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.
- Familiarity with reservation systems.
