Company Overview: Protocol Education collaborates with a school that prides itself on its Early Years Foundation Stage. The Early Years Unit integrates both Nursery and Reception classes in a shared environment while ensuring distinct learning experiences tailored to each age group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist educators in designing and implementing stimulating lessons for young learners
  • Facilitate children's growth and learning through diverse activities
  • Contribute to a secure and welcoming educational atmosphere
  • Provide individualized support to children with specific needs
  • Assist with administrative duties related to the Early Years Unit

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent credential
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • First Aid certification

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience working with nursery and/or reception age children
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated patience and empathy in child interactions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar educational role

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with potential for permanent placement in the future.
