Digital Waffle is seeking a dedicated and experienced leader in creative technology to join our dynamic team. We specialize in merging outstanding design with innovative technology to create memorable experiences for our clients across various sectors, including retail and workspace development. We are looking for a visionary to spearhead our creative technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of developers, designers, and creative professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Bring at least 10 years of experience in a leadership capacity within a creative technology environment.
  • Demonstrate a successful history of crafting and executing impactful creative campaigns across multiple platforms, including AR/VR and interactive installations.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of contemporary design trends and technologies, leveraging them to meet marketing and branding objectives.
  • Excel in a team-oriented environment, showcasing exceptional interpersonal skills to mentor and motivate a talented group of creatives and technologists.
  • Communicate effectively, contributing technical insights that enhance the overall creative vision.
  • Exhibit strong project management skills, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
  • Transform creative ideas into feasible technical strategies, aligning projects with the organization's objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and developers to oversee technical project elements from conception to completion.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to fully grasp their vision and requirements, ensuring the final deliverables exceed expectations.

Leadership Experience:

  • Proven experience as a contributor to a senior leadership team.
  • Experience managing development for project-based work.
  • Familiarity with physical, interactive applications and hardware integration.
  • Champion best practices and empower team members to achieve success.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving amidst various constraints, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work across digital platforms, highlighting both creative and technical contributions.
  • Expertise in modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and knowledge of server-side programming languages.
  • Experience with digital media tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and user experience best practices.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Ideally holds a degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of digital production methodologies.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in a creative agency or digital production setting.
