About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Pets at Home Group Plc. As a key member of the store management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store, including stock control, recruitment, and store standards.
  • You will be involved in all aspects of the store's running, including sales, customer service, and team development.
  • You will lead from the front with a hands-on approach, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional results and creating a fantastic place to shop and work.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year's management experience in the retail sector.
  • Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Passionate about retail and committed to delivering high standards and great results.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player with a proven track record of inspiring and motivating teams.
