Christie Digital Systems is seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer service engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on digital projectors, systems components, and software to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to video and cinema systems, including projector systems and interactive media systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain digital cinema projectors, non-cinema projectors, and systems, with minimal supervision.
  • Compile detailed lists of equipment and provide technical documentation to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field of audio visual and digital media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field, such as electrical or software engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in a field application engineer or related technical role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally, with frequent overnight stays.
