Engineering Shift Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Shift Manager to lead our Manufacturing Operations team in Winsford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for minimizing machinery downtime, improving equipment performance, and engaging the engineering team to drive productivity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize machinery downtime and improve equipment performance
  • Lead and support the Morrisons asset care programme to maintain and prolong the life of assets
  • Engage and motivate the engineering team to drive productivity and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing site

Requirements:

  • Qualifications to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering
  • Proven track record in an engineering and fault finding role gained from a FMCG environment (ideally the food industry)
  • Proven people management and leadership skills
