About the Role

The Online Safety Group at Ofcom is seeking a highly skilled Strategy Manager to join our Strategy Delivery team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading projects across the programme, providing dedicated project management support, and developing stakeholder engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage cross-team workplans for projects across the programme, in collaboration with teams across Ofcom.
  • Provide dedicated project management support across the Online Safety programme, including supporting our Video-Sharing Platforms' work programme.
  • Lead and/or support engagement with external stakeholders and develop stakeholder engagement strategies and materials.
  • Lead or support the delivery of external publications, to ensure a consistency narrative across all of Ofcom's OS documents.
  • Work with Ofcom's teams to bring together budget proposals for running the OS regime, alongside helping to keep in-year spending on track.
  • Analyse, prioritise, and recommend a course of action on new and emerging harms as part of the OS triage function – communicating to colleagues at all levels.
  • Develop and oversee core operational processes to ensure the effective and efficient running of our OS operations.
  • Oversee and manage the workload of colleagues and deliver through others across the OS programme. Support and coach junior colleagues.
