Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Coordinator to join our team at the Ministry of Justice UK. As a Community Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supervising work groups of offenders serving a community sentence and ensuring that all tasks are carried out to the best of their ability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise work groups of offenders and ensure that all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct dynamic risk assessments to identify and manage hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service users and ensure that all information is updated in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Work towards accreditation as a workplace assessor or deliver training assessments for selected service users.
  • Contribute to promoting Community Payback with colleagues, external agencies, and the public.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of safety at work, public protection, and risk of harm in all aspects of work.
  • Driving Licence – Category D1 Minibus.
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid and willingness to undertake further training.
  • To attain IOSH L3 or equivalent and a willingness to attend further training.
  • Driving Licence.
