Key Responsibilities- Ensure effective day-to-day operations, including program delivery and compliance.
- Allocate resources strategically to maximize impact and efficiency.
- Financial Management:
- Provide strong financial stewardship, overseeing budget development and securing funding.
- Foster strategic financial partnerships and optimize banking relationships.
- Develop and communicate a compelling vision and strategic direction for our organization.
- Collaborate with the Board and Senior Leadership to navigate organizational challenges and opportunities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and talent development.
- Promote learning and growth opportunities for staff.
- Represent our organization's mission and values in the community.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders, including city officials, funders, and media.
- 10 years of progressively responsible experience in this or adjacent fields, including at least 5 years of management/leadership experience in a similar role.
- A higher education degree in public health, social work, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong programmatic and financial management skills.
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives.
- Direct experience with harm reduction is required, experience working specifically with injection drug users (IDUs) is preferred.
- Cultural competency to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strategic thinking and vision-setting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to developing leaders and fostering a culture of care within the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite applications.
The CEO will receive a competitive salary of $155,000-$185,000 annually, with benefits aligned with nonprofit industry standards.
