Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quantity Surveying Apprentice to join our team. The successful candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and experience working in a QS role for a consultancy or contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Measuring and Estimating
  2. Production of Cost Estimates
  3. Cost Reporting
  4. Preparation of Monthly Valuations
  5. Attending Progress Meetings and Working with Wider Project Teams
  6. Contract Management
  7. Managing the Tender Process
  8. Risk Management

Requirements

  1. Quantity Surveying or Related Degree
  2. Experience of Working within a Consultancy or for a Main Contractor
  3. Able to Negotiate Confidently with Contractors, Consultants, and Clients
  4. Enthusiasm for the Construction Industry and Built Environment
  5. Excellent Excel Skills
  6. Driving Licence and Use of Own Car
