Job Summary:
The Restaurant and Bar Manager will be responsible for the smooth operation of the restaurant and bar functions, ensuring excellent guest service and delivering high standards in line with the Hotel's expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire restaurant and bar operation in a multi-site environment, maintaining high standards and aligning with the Hotel's 5-year plan.
- Coach the Food and Beverage team to provide exemplary hospitality to guests at all times.
- In collaboration with the Food and Beverage Manager, set departmental targets, objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with the Hotel's 5-year plan.
- Manage, mentor, coach, and develop the Food and Beverage team to enhance capability, performance, and engagement.
- Research and introduce initiatives to enhance the guest experience and generate additional revenue, in collaboration with the Food and Beverage Manager.
- Maintain and improve food and beverage profits by monitoring payroll costs, wastage, breakages, and implementing remedial actions.
Requirements:
We are seeking a guest and staff-focused individual with substantial experience working as a manager or assistant manager in a high-end hotel, restaurant, and/or bar. The ideal candidate will have experience in generating revenue, setting standards, and successfully managing, engaging, coaching, and developing a team of staff.
