Lead Financial Analyst Opportunity with Databricks
The Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role within the Finance department, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. In this capacity, you will engage with multiple teams such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Procurement, and Accounts Payable to guarantee the precision and promptness of financial reporting. Your duties will encompass preparing journal entries, scrutinizing account reconciliations, and facilitating audits and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and compile entries for general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheets
- Uphold accounting policies and procedural standards
- Support audits and ensure internal compliance
- Collaborate with legal and external advisors for new business units
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and spearhead process enhancement initiatives
Requirements:
- Experience with Big 4 or Top 10 audit firms is preferred
- Possession of ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent credentials
- Familiarity with international and US GAAP standards
- Experience in audits and statutory financial statements
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Adaptability to work with diverse teams
- Proficiency in cloud-based financial systems
- Experience with Netsuite & Coupa is advantageous
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
