Certain Advantage is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our team on an Offshore Project.

This is an initial 8-month contract with flexible working arrangements.

We're collaborating with a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company, offering solutions and services across diverse industries such as energy, government, and technology.

  • Produce detailed documentation, including General Arrangement drawings, Electrical Detail Drawings, and Loop drawings.
  • Specify and procure instrumentation, cables, and equipment.
Desired Experience:
  1. At least 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
  2. Strong background in engineering design and process control.
  3. Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
  4. Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.
  5. Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/V&M).
  6. Strong understanding of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
  7. Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
  8. Offshore certification is an advantage.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
  2. Technical College degree is acceptable with extensive experience in Brownfield modification projects.
