Lawes Insurance Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Marine & Energy Liability Underwriter to join our client's small specialist team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and profitability of a large portfolio and shape the Marine & Energy Liability offering in Lloyd's.
Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite all elements of the Marine & Energy Liability portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely decisions.
- Drive growth and profitability across the portfolio, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
- Contribute to the analysis of appetite in all areas, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in Marine & Energy Liability, providing guidance and support to colleagues and clients.
- Proven track record of underwriting in the Lloyd's market, with a strong understanding of Marine & Energy Liability.
- Excellent time and diary management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to deliver financial targets, with a focus on growth and profitability.
