The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Water Network Technician to join our Distribution Service Delivery Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and repairing our underground water network, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of clean water to homes and businesses.

Your Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Severn Trent's underground water network, including repairs and replacements of water mains and ancillary assets.
  • Conduct excavations within public highways and private lands to access and repair water infrastructure.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to water supply and quality.
  • Liaise with other departments and contract partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Utilize up-to-date technology to support data upkeep and operational efficiency.

Your Skills and Experience

  • A full UK driving license is essential, as you will be required to travel independently to various sites.
  • Proven experience in working safely and compliantly within a construction or utilities environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
