Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Programme Manager to join our team at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex programmes, ensuring timely delivery, and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage programmes from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and achieving business objectives
  • Develop and implement programme plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and budgeting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including programme sponsors, customers, and suppliers, to ensure programme success
  • Manage programme risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring effective mitigation and resolution
  • Develop and maintain programme documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and issue logs
  • Provide regular programme updates to stakeholders, including programme sponsors, customers, and suppliers
  • Ensure programme compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programme management, with a strong track record of delivering complex programmes
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate programme risks
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including programme sponsors, customers, and suppliers
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of programme management principles and practices
  • Ability to develop and maintain programme documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and issue logs

Desirable Qualifications:

  • APM (Association for Project Management) certification
  • PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) certification
  • Programme and Project Management (P3M) Framework certification
