Job Summary:
Randstad Care is seeking a qualified Social Work Specialist to join Tameside Council's Fostering team as a Panel Advisor. This is a part-time role offering a competitive pay rate of £45 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of Panel papers to facilitate the Foster Panel's decision-making process.
- Maintain a compliant Panel membership and ensure a stable membership group to support the Panel's growth and development.
- Develop a training plan for the Panel and the Fostering Service to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Provide a weekly clinic for Fostering Staff to receive guidance and support with report writing and preparation.
- Organize a fortnightly Panel Matters meeting with Fostering Team members and Reviewing Officers to review decisions, identify themes, and patterns.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
Experience:
- Children's Social Work experience.
